3. How We Use Information

We and our partners use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Application and its features.

  • To serve advertisements through third-party networks (like Google AdMob), which may include contextual ads and, where legally required (e.g., for users in the EEA/UK) and explicit consent has been provided by you, interest-based (personalized) ads (see Section 5 and Section 7).

  • To communicate with you in response to support requests or inquiries. For any direct promotional offers via email, we would only do so if you have explicitly opted in to receive such communications.

  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, potential fraud, or violations of our Terms and Conditions or this Privacy Policy.

  • For analytics and measurement to understand how our Application is used and to improve user experience.

4. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information (EEA/UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), we process your personal information based on the following legal grounds under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR:

  • Your Consent: We rely on your explicit consent to:

    • Serve you personalized (interest-based) advertisements through our advertising partners like Google AdMob. You can withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 7 ("Your Rights and Choices").

    • Send you direct promotional communications via email, if you have separately opted-in to receive them.

  • Legitimate Interests: We process certain personal information for our legitimate interests, provided these interests are not overridden by your data protection rights. Our legitimate interests include:

    • Operating, maintaining, and improving the Application and its features.

    • Serving contextual (non-personalized) advertisements, which support our ability to offer the Application for free.

    • Ensuring the security and integrity of our Service, including preventing fraud and addressing technical issues.

    • Conducting analytics to understand how our Application is used and to enhance user experience (this is typically done using aggregated or pseudonymized data where feasible).

    • Responding to your support requests and inquiries.

  • Performance of a Contract: We process personal information necessary to provide you with the Service as described in our Terms and Conditions, which form a contract between you and us. This includes, for example, using locally stored game data to allow you to resume sessions.

  • Legal Obligations: We may process your personal information if necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as responding to a court order, subpoena, or other lawful request from public authorities.

5. Third-Party Services and Data Collection

The Application integrates third-party SDKs that collect and process data under their own privacy policies. These include:

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services. We do not enable personalized ads through AdMob for users identified as children (see Section 8). For users in certain jurisdictions (like the EEA/UK), personalized ads are only shown with your explicit consent.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information collected (primarily data automatically collected by our partners, or your contact information if you reach out to us) only in the following circumstances:

  • With Our Service Providers: To vendors and partners (like Google for ads and analytics) who process data on our behalf and are subject to confidentiality obligations or their own comprehensive privacy policies.

  • For Legal Requirements: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order, subpoena, or other legal process).

  • To Protect Rights, Property, or Safety: When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

  • In Connection with Business Transfers: If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy, where required by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have certain rights and choices regarding your information:

  • Managing Personalized Advertising:

    • You can typically limit interest-based advertising through your mobile device's settings (e.g., "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).

    • For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK: We will provide you with choices regarding personalized advertising through a consent management platform when you first use the Application, in compliance with GDPR. You can typically withdraw your consent at any time through the app's settings or by resetting your advertising identifier.

  • Accessing or Deleting Your Information:

    • Local Game Data: You can delete this data by clearing the Application's cache/storage on your device or by uninstalling the Application.

    • Data Collected by Third-Party Partners (e.g., Google): For data collected and controlled by our partners like Google (AdMob, Google Analytics), such as advertising identifiers and associated usage data, you should refer to their respective privacy policies and tools (e.g., Google's "My Ad Center" or your Google account settings) to understand and exercise your rights. We do not have direct control to access or delete this data from their systems.

  • Opt-out of Analytics: Some analytics providers may offer opt-out mechanisms. Refer to their privacy policies (linked in Section 5) for details.

  • Rights for EEA/UK Users: If you are in the EEA/UK, in addition to the above, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing under certain conditions. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age (or the applicable digital age of consent in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under this age without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@frontiercreatorsllc.com.

9. Security

We are committed to protecting your information. We rely on the security measures implemented by our third-party partners (like Google) for the data they collect and process. For any data we directly handle (such as support emails), we implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

10. Data Retention

  • Local Game Data (SharedPreferences): This data remains solely on your device and is under your control. It is removed when you uninstall the Application or clear the Application’s storage/cache. We do not have server-side copies.

  • Crash & Diagnostic Logs (via Google Play Services): This data is retained by Google according to their data retention policies (refer to Google's documentation for specific timeframes, which may vary but are typically for a limited period for detailed logs, with aggregated data retained longer).

  • Support Emails: We retain support emails for as long as necessary to address your inquiry, for record-keeping, and to comply with our internal policies or legal obligations.

We will delete or anonymize data we control sooner if you exercise applicable deletion rights, unless retention is legally required or permitted.

11. International Transfers

The data collected through the Application, primarily by our third-party partners like Google, may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States or other countries where Google and its service providers operate facilities. These jurisdictions may have data protection laws that are different from those of your country. By using the Service, you acknowledge that such transfers may occur. Our partners typically rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms for international data transfers where required by laws like GDPR.

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the personal information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting the information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share personal information. (Much of this information is provided in this Privacy Policy).

  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
